Register Your Small Gas Grills - Now
One of the first things you should do after buying your small gas grill is register it with the manufacturer, there are a few resons you should do this.
1. You invoke your 1 year or extended guarantee. So many people forget to do this, and yes sometimes things can go wrong. Your gaurantee does not work unless you register it, ok?
2. When registered the manufacturer will usually keep you updated on latest parts and accessories available for your gas grill, new models etc.
3. And probably the most important reason to register is in case there is a call back or re call on your grill or any part of it. This applies to all grills, small, big, cheap, expensive. It is rare but can happen to any product you buy.
Re calls are not bad, in fact they are good and show that the manufacturer listens to complaints and issues about their product and is willing to take the responsible step of doing something about it. So look at re-calls as positive and you will of course always get a full refund or a brand new replacement.

Covering Your Small Gas Grill
Covers for small gas grills. It always amazes me how people invest time and emotion in choosing their grills, but then when it comes to it they won't use a grill cover to help keep it in tip top condition.
This saves you money in the long run as it will help maintain your grill and it will last so much longer. Would you leave your indoor grill out in the rain, sun, snow, hail? I hope not. You don't even have to buy one, you can make one at home out of plastic sheeting, plastic garbage bags. Or even an old blanket covered with plastic (to help weight it down). This not only protects it from the weather, but also from outdoor life as explained in an earlier post.
By all means if you have the budget, buy the manufacturers cover for your small gas grill, it will have the advantage of being the perfect fit, but if not don't let that stop you from getting creative and improvising.

Maintaining Small Gas Grills
Maintaining Small Gas grills. Gas grills no matter what size need to be maintained. This will not only ensure that your grill works as it should, but it also goes a long way to extending the life of your grill.
This is especially important if you buy a less expensive grill, as sometimes the parts are not as durable as the more expensive. (Now this is not always the case so don't be put off by a less expensive grill) but since you have invested time, effort and money in choosing your small gas grill, then a little effort into making sure you get the most out of it isn't going to kill you. You will be rewarded with endless hours of fun grilling.
Always clean your gas grill after use, yes after each use. Even if you are going to be using it again the next day. All those bugs and outdoor living creatures like nothing more than finding a warm place with food crumbs and bar b q sauce, to move into over night and invite their friends and extended family over to party on down with. So think on!

Small Gas Grills
The first thing you need to do before you consider buying a small gas grill is understand the space you have available to use it.
Yes, what sort of space do you have in that are, whether it is a patio, balcony, courtyard garden, roof top, or whatever, you get the idea. Remember, you need to add extra space for standing and moving around it too.
Next pay attention to where you will be storing the small gas grill when not in use. They do need to be stored somewhere safe and dry. Leave them outside for extended periods and this will be detrimental to their performance.
Finally have a quick think about how many people in general you will be cooking for. Is it mostly for you and your partner? 2 couples maybe? or up to 6 people, then bear all of this in mind when you are getting carried away by the cuteness of the really small gas grills, that will only grill a really small baby prawn at a time.
